Park Green Project

As you may have seen over the last couple of months a lot of activity has been going on at the site of the new Butterwick Community area. The workmen have been very busy laying the stone for the paths and car park, preparing the land for the play equipment, preparing the land and sowing the grass seed and making a brilliant job of the small hill at edge of the car park.

There is still a lot of work to do but the area is starting to take shape. The play equipment was delivered today and will soon be put up. The top layer of the paths and car park will also be put down. But that is not all that has to be done!!

The Park Green Project is also planning some events for 2005. One of these been the Butterwick Gala that will be held on the 28th of August at the Old Girls School and some more that are in the pipeline so keep checking back.
